With crowd estimates well past one hundred thousand, the women, men, and children exercised their first amendment rights in a joyous and peaceful manner. So far as of 2:00 p.m. The Los Angeles Police Department has not made any arrests and is in the process of opening downtown streets to facilitate the flow of traffic. The men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department are currently working with the Department of Transportation to restore traffic back to normal. While there are long waits for public transportation, our city partners at Metro have added extra busses and rail cars to help expedite everyone’s journey.
