WHY:
On November 21, 2022, around 12:00 p.m., a female victim was hiking along a local trail located near the 17000 block of Mulholland Drive. The suspect approached the victim from behind, forced her to a secluded area, and sexually assaulted her. The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, 30 years of age, with a two-inch scar on his right forearm.
The commanding officer and assigned investigators of West Valley Sexual Assault Investigations are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault along a local hiking trail, and updating the details of the investigation.
