WHAT: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division Toys on Patrol Officers will be conducting a toy give away for the children in the less fortunate neighborhoods in the Van Nuys Community.
WHEN: Thursday, December 21, 2017 1 p.m. to 2p.m.
WHERE: Delano Street between Vesper Avenue and Kester Avenue Van Nuys, California 91401
WHO: LAPD Sergeant Maria Pedroza, Van Nuys Community Relations Office LAPD Officer Francisco De Jesus Officers from the Van Nuys Community Relations Office
WHY: This program benefits the children officers encounter day to day while responding to radio calls and conducting consensual encounters. During this event, Van Nuys Community Relations Officers along with Santa Claus will be spontaneously distributing toys in the neighborhoods; thereby fortifying bonds and trust with the public.
