Los Angeles: On Thursday, November 27, 2003, at about 8:15 p.m., patrol officers from Hollywood Area responded to a radio call of shots fired at the Hollywood Hills Inn located in the 6000 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 22 year-old male inside one of the rooms who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to his family.
Hollywood Area Homicide Detectives’ investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect became involved in an argument, which escalated and caused the suspect to shoot and kill the victim.
The suspect has been described as a male White, possibly of Russian descent, 40-45 years of age, 5’-7" to 5’-9" and 150 to 165 pounds.
