Los Angeles: On November 18, 2002, at approximately 12:00 p.m., in the 19100 block of Sherman Way, a lone female was returning home from her housekeeping job. She was approached at her apartment door by a male and female Hispanic couple. In Spanish, the couple told the victim that they would like to talk to her about the word of God. The male suspect held a bible in his hand. Once inside the victim’s house, the suspects pulled a gun and demanded cash and jewelry taking the woman’s life savings.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2000 gray compact. Detectives believe that there may be additional victims who have not come forward and is seeking the media’s assistance in getting the word out to the public.
