Violent Robbery Caught on Tape at Gas Station

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area Robbery Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for the armed robbery that occurred at the Ultramar Gas Station located at 655 North Rossmore Boulevard in Los Angeles.
On August 26 2003, at 8:10 p.m., a male Black suspect posing as customer walked behind the store counter, pointed a silver revolver at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then told the clerk to lie on the floor. A customer who entered the store was then confronted by the suspect and also told to lie on the floor. The suspect then became angry with the store clerk and struck him in the head several times. The suspect took the money from the cash register, the customer’s wallet and fled the location.
The suspect is described as; 6’0", 175 pounds, 20-30 years old, wearing a red, white, and blue baseball cap, blue print shirt and jeans.
No arrests have been made at this time.
