Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department missing persons detectives are requesting public assistance to locate a woman who hasn’t been seen or heard from since she left an Inglewood nightclub.
About 1 a.m. on Nov. 6, 2013, Los Angeles resident Iya Sloan stepped outside of a nightclub in the 200 block of South La Brea Avenue after spending time with friends inside. Since that time, it seems she has vanished, and her family is very concerned. Sloan, who is also the mother of 5-year-old twins, has never been missing before and hasn’t been in contact with her children.
Sloan is described as a 30-year-old Black female with brown hair and eyes. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue pants with a gray shirt and gray, open-toed shoes.
