Woman Killed as She Crossed the Street

Los Angeles: On Friday, December 2, 2005, at about 7:50 p.m., LAPD Traffic Officers responded to a Fatal Traffic Collision at Lucile Avenue and Marathon Street.
According to a witness, Micheline Fernande Maye, a 74 year old, resident of Seaside, CA was crossing Lucile Ave when she was hit by a car that was going southbound at a high rate of speed. The suspect stopped briefly and then sped away. The suspect’s car is described as a 1990-1995 dark colored Ford Thunderbird.
Mayes was taken to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
