Los angeles: LAPD Harbor Area Homicide Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in a homicide investigation of an unidentified woman stabbed to death in San Pedro.
On December 24, 2011, around 7:15 p.m., an unknown female White was discovered lying on the sidewalk in front of a building located in the 1110 block of South Pacific Avenue by community members. According to detectives, as citizens approached her and they saw that the victim had multiple stab wounds to her upper body. Several witnesses also saw an unidentified male with possible dark baggy clothing running from the area.
Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital where she died a short time later.
The motive for the murder remains unknown at this time.
