Wounded Man Asked for Help Inside a Liquor Store NR19003rh

Olympic: The Los Angeles Police Department and West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in shooting a man in Larchmont.

On January 9, 2019, around 10:25 p.m., Olympic Area Patrol Officers responded to a shooting call in the 4700 block of Beverly Boulevard in Larchmont. When officers arrived, they were directed to a victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside a liquor store.

The initial investigation shows the victim was on the sidewalk when a suspect approached on foot and pointed a gun at the victim and fired several rounds. The wounded victim went inside the liquor store after he was struck by gunfire; asking for help. The suspect left westbound on Beverly Boulevard on foot.

The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic wearing dark clothing.
