January 13, 2008

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for the shooting death of 18-year-old, Eron M. Mull, a resident of West Covina.

Around 11:15 p.m., patrol officers from the Hollywood Area responded to a radio call of a group fight at La Cienega Boulevard and Oakwood Avenue. When officers arrived they saw several large groups of males fighting in the area. Officers then heard a gunshot and responded to the alley to the rear of Norm’s Restaurant located in the 400 block of La Cienega Boulevard, where they found Mull suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department administered life saving techniques. Mull failed to respond and was pronounced dead at scene..

The investigation revealed that a fight erupted between two groups of rival gang members outside the Level 10 Club, located in the 300 block of La Cienega Boulevard. The fight continued up the street to the parking lot of Norm’s Restaurant. Large groups of individuals were running from the area when the victim was shot.

A possible suspect has been described as being a male Black, approximately 16 years old, 5’2” to 5’3”, with a thin build.

Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to contact Hollywood Homicide Unit at 213-972-2910 or 213-972-2901. During off-hours or on weekends, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
