North Hollywood Swap Meet Armed Robbers Sought NR10594ne

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two men who robbed a jewelry store inside the North Hollywood Swap Meet at gunpoint on December 18, 2010, in North Hollywood.

At around 12:15 p.m., two men walked into the North Hollywood Swap Meet in the 7300 block of Lankershim Boulevard. One of the suspects pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and shot one of the glass display cases belonging to B&B Co Jewelry Store and fled with an undisclosed amount of jewelry. The robbers ran eastbound and exchanged gunfire with armed, uniformed security for the swap meet. No one was injured during the exchange of gunfire and the suspects are still outstanding at this time.

The gunman is described as a male Hispanic. He stands about 5 feet 8” tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and black shoes. He was also wearing black gloves.

Suspect-2 is described as a male, Hispanic. He stands about 5 feet 8” tall and weighs 140-150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with “LA” on the front, dark blue pants, and black shoes wearing black gloves.
