Hit and Run Driver Seriously Injures 3-Year-Old Girl NR10514bb

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) South Traffic Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a driver who struck a 3-year-old pedestrian in South Los Angeles.

On October 31, 2010 at about 6:35 p.m., a red 1999 to 2000 Toyota compact car, traveling eastbound on 77th Street from Avalon Boulevard hit a 3-year-old female pedestrian that ran into the roadway.  The driver left the scene without rendering aid or identifying themselves as required by law.

The 3-year-old victim was rushed to a local hospital where she was listed in serious condition.  Investigators have no further information on the suspect at this time.
