WHY:    
To further the Department’s community relations and policing partnerships with those that live, visit and work within the City of Los Angeles and especially to enhance the community’s education about and exposure to the Department’s facilities, personnel and specialized units that are located within and serving the   neighborhood.  

Visitors are invited to join Northeast Division personnel for demonstrations and displays by the Bomb Squad, K-9 Unit, LAPD Dispatch Communications, the SWAT Team and other service agencies that provide crime prevention services and safety information.
