WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 38 police officers, with 32 males and six females.  The ethnic breakdown of the class is as follows: 15 Caucasians, 16 Hispanics, three African American, three Asians (one of which is Korean) and one Filipino.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
