Suspect Sought in Early Morning Shooting NR19058dm

Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Area Gang Unit are seeking
the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for
shooting a man. The incident was captured on video
surveillance.

On February 2, 2019, around 4:10 a.m., an argument occurred inside
of a business located in the 3000 block of Sunset Boulevard. That
argument resulted in the male suspect being removed from the
location by a security guard and one additional male. The suspect
became enraged, removed a handgun from his waistband and shot the
additional male. The suspect entered a dark colored, 4-door Range
Rover, and fled east on Sunset Boulevard.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and
transported the male victim to a local hospital. He was listed in
stable condition and has since been released.

The suspect is described as a 35-year-old male Asian. He stands 5
feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
