Severe Injury Felony Hit and Run Traffic Collision NR19317jc

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police
Department’s Central Traffic Division detectives are asking for the
public’s help in locating the alleged driver involved in a felony
hit and run traffic collision that left the victim – a male adult –
with severe injuries and in critical condition.

On November 21, 2019, around 10:45 p.m., the victim was in the
vicinity of Olympic Boulevard and Lake Street and, while crossing
the street, the victim was then struck by the suspect’s vehicle.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light-colored possible
Tesla Model 3. After the collision, the driver fled the scene
failing to stop to render aid and identify themselves.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and
transported the injured pedestrian to a local hospital in critical
condition.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles
Administrative Code and created a Hit and Run Reward Program Trust
Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members
that provide information leading to the offender’s identification,
apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil
compromise.
