Security Assessments

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will assist you in evaluating your 501.3 (c) nonprofit organization (NGO), house of worship and/or school for security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for security enhancements using the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Vulnerability Assessment Worksheet. Please Contact your LAPD Area’s Community Relations Office (CRO) for assistance.

Should your NGO qualify for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)/ California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) FY 2020 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP), LAPD personnel will provide support in applying for the FEMA/Cal OES NSGP.
