Los Angeles Police Department, the Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Investigation, members of the community, leaders in South Los Angeles and community-based organizations will partner to make a difference and improve the quality-of-life for those who live, work and visit the neighborhoods within LAPD’s Southwest Area.  Organizers of the event are utilizing the relationships of cooperation to work together and make a visible impact in the neighborhood.  As part of that effort, the participating groups have coordinated local residents to come together to remove trash and bulky items, cut-down overgrown shrubberies and paint over graffiti.  In addition, all members of the public are invited to come out and participate in this event.
