Identity Thieves Sought by LAPD NR15241ml

Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division are seeking the
public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in identity
theft.

On July 14th, 2015, around 7:05 p.m., the suspects entered a
department store located in the 8800 block of La Cienega Boulevard.
The suspects were observed on camera purchasing over $1800 worth of
merchandise using a fraudulent credit card in the name of the
victim. Shortly after exiting the store, the suspects re-entered,
and attempted to purchase more items with the fraudulent credit
card. Their second purchase attempt was denied by the store.

Suspect-1 is described as a female Hispanic, approximately
30-years-old, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6
inches tall, and weighs approximately 190 pounds. Suspect-2 is
described as a male Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, with
brown hair and a beard. He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs
approximately 160 pounds.
