WHAT: Coat Giveaway for Area School Students

WHEN: Thursday, December 14, 2017 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE: Tom Bradley Global Awareness Magnet Elementary School 3875 Dublin Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90008

WHO: LAPD Captain III Lee Sands, Southwest Area Commanding Officer Tom Bradley Global Awareness Magnet Elementary School Inside Outside Communication Foundation Southwest Officers

WHY: The Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Community Police Station has partnered with inside Outside Communication Foundation to provide warm coats to 65 kindergartens and first grade students attending Tom Bradley Global Awareness Magnet Elementary School.

The need was recognized by officers while providing safe passages to students on their way to school. This event is part three in a series of four holiday events organized by Southwest Area this season.

The goal of these celebratory holiday events is to continue to build partnerships and further enhance the relationship between members of the Los Angeles Police Department and the communities we serve.
