Homicide in Tarzana NR19255dm

Tarzana: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects involved in the murder of a 24-year-old man.

On September 21, 2019, at 10:40 p.m., West Valley Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting” in the 18200 block of Sugarman Street in Tarzana. Upon arrival, the officers observed the victim, laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died.

Detective’s preliminary investigation determined the victim and his friend arrived at the location when they were approached by three male Black suspects. The suspects demanded their property and, in the process, shot the victim multiple times. The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
