Liquor Store Robbery Caught on Tape

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a liquor store robbery suspect caught on tape.

On Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at about 5:50 p.m. a man riding a bicycle entered the Redondo Liquor Store, located in the 5100 block of Washington Boulevard. An hour later, the same man returned to the liquor store carrying a handgun and pointed it at the store clerk who was standing in the aisle of the liquor store. The man dragged the clerk to the cash register and forced him to open it. The clerk fearing for his life, complied with the man.

The suspect was described as a Black man with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. He appears to be 25 years old, 5’10” tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds.
