"Help Needed to Identify Dangerous Suspects"

Los Angeles – On Monday, March 20, 2000, at approximately 10:00 A.M., two armed suspects attempted to commit a robbery at the EL CHOLO Restaurant, located at 1121 S. Western Avenue, in Wilshire Division. One of the suspects shot and injured an employee during the attempted robbery.

The suspects fled the scene before the police arrived, and are still outstanding. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. LAPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1 – Male, African American, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 lbs., 25/30 years old, with long braided hair. He was wearing a blue beanie, blue windbreaker, and black pants.

Suspect 2 – Male African American, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 lbs., 25/30 years old, wearing a blue hooded sweater, and black pants.
